CARBOXYLATED NITRILE RUBBER (XNBR)

ASTM D2000 Classification : BF, BG, BK

Temperature Range : -30°C to 100°C

Carboxylated Nitrile Rubber is made by modifying Nitrile Rubber with Carboxylic Groups. XNBR outperforms NBR with higher Tensile Strength, Superior Tear & Abrasion Resistance along with improved Oil Resistance even at Elevated Temperatures. XNBR is therefore recommended for Dynamic applications due to enhanced physical properties.

ADVANTAGES
Good Abrasion and Tear
Good Resistance to LPG & Fuel Oils
Good Resistance to Animal, Vegetable & Mineral Oils
Good Impact
Good Resistance to Hydraulic Fluids
DISADVANTAGES
Poor resistance to Ozone, Weather & flame
Poor resistance to Brake Fluids and Ketones
Poor Resistance to Strong Acids
Poor Resistance to Phosphate Esters
Poor Resistance to Halogenated Solvents & Hydrocarbons
O Rings
